At North Bend STEM Academy, we believe students learn best when they feel safe, supported, and challenged. Our school is built around high academic expectations, caring relationships, and a commitment to supporting the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally. Inspired by the compass in our logo, our team works every day to help students find their direction, build confidence, and grow into curious, capable learners.
Our K–5 academic program emphasizes strong foundations in reading, math, science, and STEM, with extended instructional time in English Language Arts and math to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. Through hands-on learning, engaging instruction, and meaningful STEM experiences, students develop critical thinking skills, creativity, and a love of learning that prepares them for the future.
Just as important as academics is the environment we create. Our classrooms are structured, welcoming, and focused on respect and responsibility. Teachers build strong relationships with students, use consistent routines, and provide thoughtful support so every child feels known and valued. Daily physical education, enrichment opportunities, and social-emotional learning help students stay healthy, focused, and connected.
We are committed to being a reliable, positive partner for families. From free meals to before- and after-school care, we work to ensure students and families feel supported throughout the school day and beyond.

Jamie Brady, Regional Vice President
Jamie Brady joined ACCEL Schools in 2019 with over 20 years of experience as a K-12 educator, principal, director, charter school authorizer, and educational consultant. As Regional Vice President at ACCEL Schools, she oversees leadership development, instructional programming, operations, and strategic planning for multiple schools in Southern Ohio. Mrs. Brady holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, a Master’s degree and Principal Certification in Educational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University, and has completed all of her Ed.D. coursework through Walden University. Mrs. Brady is an experienced leader with expertise and demonstrated mastery in coaching and development, budgeting and finance, instructional leadership, school turnaround, and board relations.

Founded in 2014, ACCEL Schools is a K-12 public charter school management organization (CMO) serving students across the United States in brick-and-mortar, virtual, and hybrid school settings. We focus on improving academic outcomes of students regardless of geographic location or socioeconomic factors. The leadership team at ACCEL Schools has a combined 1000+ years of experience as global school management operators with expertise in curriculum research and design, assessment, student support services, and education consulting. Our entire team fundamentally believes that all children deserve a great education and students should be supported as they pursue a wide variety of post-secondary options. Our robust technology increases engagement, access to resources, efficiencies, and academic results helping our students become productive global citizens.
